Partnership Creates New Preserve to Benefit People and Animals

Summit Land Conservancy and Nuzzles & Co., (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) announce the permanent protection of 62 acres of hillside view-shed, open space, wildlife habitat, and an off-leash dog-walking trail in the Brown’s Canyon portion of Summit County. This collaboration combines two of our community’s favorite causes: animal sanctuary and open space. This conservation project started last summer, thanks to a local resident who saw an opportunity to connect the goals of two nonprofit organizations she supports. The donors’ grandchildren aptly named the new preserve “Nana B’s”. Click here to read the full press release.
