Local businesses have long supported our efforts to preserve open space because our work enhances quality of life for the people who call Summit County home.
Our Living for Open Space program allows businesses to contribute to saving land by adding small donations to their customers’ purchases or by donating a set amount per transaction or a percentage of their profits. The donations that are added to customers’ purchases are always voluntary and customers can opt out if they do not wish to participate.
Launched in 2005 as the 1% for Open Space program, business participants have contributed over $205,000 that the Summit Land Conservancy has used to protect local open space, trails, wildlife habitat, working farms and ranches and land along the Weber River.
Please thank the Living for Open Space businesses below for their commitment to saving local open space.
