After a rare February with no full moon, March 2018 gets two! Can we say#MoonShineMarch?! The first full moon, the Full Worm Moon, was named so by early Native Americans who believed earth worms would come to the surface in search of Spring as the ground thawed. The following full moon is less common, and will be the SECOND Blue Moon of the year!
Join Summit Land Conservancy and Mountain Trails Foundation as we ‘skin to win’ at Park City Mountain Resort. Please bring your own gear (touring set-up, headlamp, water, layers and snacks), and we will provide the hot beverages. Participants should plan to meet in the Park City Mountain First Time lot at 7:00 PM. The tour will travel up Homerun to the Angle Station. Gather your adventure posse and come learn about trails and open space from your favorite local nonprofits! This event is FREE and fun for everyone – you won’t want to miss it!
