We’ll be in search of wild hops this Sunday, June 28th at McPolin Farmlands on the Conservancy’s second Hops Hike of the season. We encourage creative transportation — hike, bike, carpool, bus, dance or jog to the trailhead across from the McPolin barn on Highway 224. Hops, planted by German miners over one hundred years ago, the wild hops have flourished in our mountain wonderland! They will be harvested later in the season and crafted by Wasatch Brewing into a limited quantity beer available at Wasatch Brew Pub this fall. Hikes continue at different Conservancy protected areas throughout the summer. Click here for more information and the schedule of upcoming hikes.
